The time had come again: a new firework and I set off with the camera as usual. New for the day was a stubborn and intense rain that soaked everything and everyone. The spectators were nowhere to be found and I decided to try something new: I went to Skeppsholmen for a more distant view of the show. It turned out to be the correct decision - a small, but brave, audience and a soaked dog got to witness a seldom seen transformation of the sky. The haze from the rain turned the whole sky into a gigantic palette that shifted colour in beat of the firework. Even the castle got a hint of a long sought after colour!
